The dry area of the cave is open to the public as a tourist attraction. In midsummer there are several daily expeditions to show the fantastic formations.
The dive starts in a nice big entrance. You dip under an over hanging arch and surface in a large subterranean lake. Old catwalks from seasons past decorate the chamber. Our path leads 15m underneath to a milky entrance. Fresh water pushes out of the cave, which of course creates haloclines.
The formations in this cave are breathtaking. Several side passages cleave through the halls. Some end in sumps and others extend for several kilometers.
